The Leo 30

VTTA 30-mile National Championship

&

Alan 'Bones' Rochford & Val Hester Memorial

Saturday 11th May

This historic event has been a part of time trial tradition since 1946. This year due to roadworks on the E2, the race will take place on the E33/30, a single carriageway course. Despite its challenging nature, the E33/30 is no slouch. In fact, last year’s winner, Jack Levick, completed it in an impressive 1 hour and 2 minutes. Steeped in UK time trial history, this event boasts nearly every CTT 30-mile National competition record.

Again this year, apart from the VTTA awards, there will be no other prizes other than the Leo 30 shield for the fastest rider, this shield reads like a 'who's who' of time trialling. There will be a donation to Cancer Research in memory of Alan 'Bones' Rochford, sponsor of the Leo RC for many years and Val Hester, General Secretary of the Leo RC, who both sadly passed away from cancer in 2022.

Be a part of history, contest for VTTA honours, celebrate the lives of Alan and Val and race for a worthwhile charitable cause!

Sadly, due to the change of course several riders have withdrawn and currently with a week to go before the event closes.

Currently there are only 43 solo's and a tandem. This is an ideal course for a road bike so no excuses, every roadie has one! Event closes on Tuesday 30th April at 23:59, so what are you waiting for? Get your entries in!

ENTRY FEE IS ONLY £15!
