National Association for the over 40 year old racing cyclist
The VTTA is organised into 16 regional groups. VTTA Groups are not based on rigid geographical boundaries (unlike CTT Districts) and there is therefore some overlap. Below we give an indication of the areas covered by each group.
As a member you may join any one of these local groups, but typically you would join one local to you. You may also retain membership of a group if you move around the country.
Your regional group sets and adminsters its own subscriptions, and organises events and competitions, and social events. Each group is run by a committee including a chairman, secretary and treasurer.
Each VTTA group is also effectively a 'club' affiliated to the CTT and a member of its local CTT District. Your VTTA group may thus be considered your 2nd claim club, after your local cycling club, although some members have their VTTA group as their 1st claim club.
You can find details of each regional group in this part of the website including their subscriptions, and contact details for their officials. You can also see details of their local events and how their members have performed in the national competitions.
Some groups have their own website and you can follow the link to their site to find out more about them.
