Age Record claims now fully automated

Following a system enhancement, you no longer need to claim Age Records, either National or Group. Every time a result is imported from the CTT site it is compared with the existing Age Records. The process retains a step requiring manual ratification by the Group Recorder or National Recorder depending on which level it is.

You will receive an email notification of your potential new record. There is then a week's delay built into the process to allow for other results from recent events to be included, in case your time/distance has already been beaten, and after that you'll be advised if your record has been ratified or not.

The existing capability to add manually continues, and is used for loading historic solo records. The system does not automate tandem records, which still need to be added manually.
