National 30 Championship entries close soon

ENTRY ALERT! It’s time to get your entries in for the VTTA National 30-Mile Championships, which this year take place in Kent.
You have until midnight on Friday, 18 April, to get your entry in via the CTT website, for an event which this year is organised by the VTTA Kent Group and uses the Q30/3 near Hamstreet.
It’s a reasonably flat course at first, although after around 12 miles it starts heading up to Ashford. The road surface is reported to be pretty good for the majority of the course which includes four roundabouts – some of which are passed a couple of times.
It’s quite a wide course for the most part, with straight roads giving good visibility.
Entries are up on last year, and with defending champion Linda Dewhurst choosing not to ride this time, a new champion will be crowned.
There are many great riders in the field, but perhaps keep a look out for Mark Vowells and Mark Hill, both familiar with the course being from Kent.
