Desired changes requiring XnCreations help:

  1. <<<<<Removal of that space hogging left side menu!
  2. Ability to edit top menu, or specify change needed now.
  3. Some existing pages do not have the 'Delete' option. Will need this.
  4. Removal of Quick Links and Groups on right of homepage as this is duplicated information
  5. Reformatting of Latest News at bottom of homepage
  6. Removal of Group News at bottom of homepage as this is duplicated in each Group's area
  7. Reorganise the Documents section. As a minimum, ability to create folders within it
  8. Improve screen rendering on small screen devices, ideally with a preview function for editors
  9. Would be simpler for joiners if the 'Join the VTTA' button on all the Groups' About page linked to the https://www.vtta.org.uk/register page.
  10. Photo at the top of the Membership page in Firefox does not show in Chrome or Edge.

To do list for Mark:

  1. Complete rewrite of existing pages
  2. Create a place to keep articles (e.g. launch of AATs, Richard Noakes 'How to go fact' article)
  3. Create a new page of past trophy winners to link to from the National Trophies page.
  4. Change the way links to information contained in the Documents section work so that users go straight to what they need.
  5. Create a place to keep information on how to translate AATs to Plusses to enable historic competition reference.
  6. Increase the amount of coverage of velodrome content?
  7. Consider interaction with the Facebook page.

Progress

The intention is to launch all rewritten pages in one release, shortly after the AGM.

List of pages rewritten so far with links. If there's no link the page hasn't yet been rewritten. These are not linked to from anywhere but could be found by Google. NB - these are not final versions but do reflect the general tone. The aim is to keep it simple, informal and friendly on the webpages and link to detailed information elsewhere where needed, usually within the Constitution, Rules, and Regulations. On this basis the pages may not be 100% exhaustive or explicit..
